Egg Timer — Privacy Policy

Egg Timer ("the app") is built to work without collecting your personal data.

1. No accounts, no servers

Egg Timer needs no account and has no server of its own. Your settings (doneness, egg size, temperature) and timer state are stored only on your device and never leave it. The app works fully offline.

2. No ads, no tracking

This version of Egg Timer shows no ads, contains no analytics, and does not track you. It never asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. If a future update introduces advertising, this policy will be updated first — in the app and at this address — before that version ships.

3. Notifications

The app schedules local notifications on your device so the egg alarm fires on time. These never leave your phone.

4. Live Activities

The countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island is rendered by iOS from data stored on your device only.

5. Data we collect

None. We collect no names, emails, contacts, photos, location, identifiers, or usage analytics.

6. Children

The app is rated 4+ and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

7. Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version ships with the next app update and is posted at this address.
